My name is Jay Deeds and I reside in Spring Mills, having lived in the Eastern Panhandle of WV most of my life--more specifically a small community called Bedington, outside of Martinsburg.

I am a graduate of The George Washington University with a bachelor's degree in international business/finance and received an MBA from the University of Maryland.

 After investing in real estate and managing rental properties since 2002, I became a full-time agent in 2004. I hold the following certifications: ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative; CDPE, Certified Distressed Property Expert; CRS, Certified Residential Specialist; E-PRO, Certified Internet Professional; GRI, Graduate REALTOR Institute; GREENMRP, Military Relocation Professional; and SFR, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource. 

In 2012, I opened Home Quest Realty, a small boutique real estate firm, as both broker and owner in West Virginia and Maryland.  I graduated from the West Virginia Association of REALTORS (WVAR) 2014 Leadership Academy inaugural class.   

2017 was a big year.  We opened Keller Williams Eastern Panhandle Realty, now operating as Keller Williams Advantage.  We have 4 offices throughout West Virginia to service the whole state.  My Home Quest Team is now backed by a leading international franchise; I am the operating principal/owner and broker.

"I had been trying to purchase a foreclosure property for nearly 2 years without success. As soon as I realized it was transferred to a HUD sale and that Jay’s firm was the listing agent, I contacted him. Jay was extremely knowledgeable about the process and began providing me with regular updates. The timing of the sale was not ideal. Bidding opened on the Saturday before Christmas. Offers had to be submitted by the midnight Sunday, just two days prior to Christmas. Jay worked with me throughout the day Sunday, even late into the evening to submit our revised offer. He notified me first thing the next morning that my offer was accepted. However, HUD required that the paperwork be processed and deposit received within 48 hours (Christmas morning). Jay and his team worked promptly and professionally with me into Christmas Eve to process and submit the required documents and deposit before the Christmas Day deadline. That type of dedication to a client is not always found today. "
